CHRISTINE MARIE STRUTT

Christine Marie Strutt (nee Sinclair), our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Residence in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 16, 2026.

Christine was born on October 23,1946 at St. Boniface Hospital. She attended St. Alphonsus School and St. Mary’s Academy and spent the majority of her adult life in North Kildonan. Christine is predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Alexander Sinclair, and brother George Sinclair (Cathy) and is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Midford (Martin), Jennifer Strutt (David) and Michelle Strutt, sister Lynne O’Rourke (Terry), treasured granddaughters, Alexandra and Jacqueline Midford, and former husband and faithful friend Tony Strutynski.

Christine was a passionate, positive force. She was a fiercely dedicated “Mom” and cheerleading “Gram”. She was a tenacious and loving sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend. She was committed to building community at the Spence Street Thrift Shop and Holy Redeemer Parish and freely gave of her time and energy as a non-profit Board Director and volunteer.

Christine’s family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Pembina Place and ActionMarguerite St. Joseph’s for their attentive care of our Mom.
